Brookdale

Brookdale has been very good with being in constant communication with me concerning his health. He is currently in the hospital and the doctor is saying he cannot wait to get back there. They seem to be very interested in working with the individual residents about whatever their problems or concerns are. My brother is obese and they are concerned about his weight and are watching what he eats. They make his appointments and are very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Charlotte East to others, it has been a positive experience. We looked at 6 different places and this was the best fit. They did something on the tour that none of the other 5 places did. As we walked through the facility, they stopped with every staff member and introduced us. We also stopped and spoke with many residents as well and got positive feedback. They have been great and so supportive.

The lunch meal is good but the dinner meal is usually not too appetizing. I realized that the main meal is at noon but the evening meal is very light and she just usually doesn't feel like eating what they're serving so she ends up just getting a sandwich a lot. Or just making her own food in her room.

It was beautiful comminty, with nice decor. They were very friendly, and it was clean.

I toured this community and it was ok. Cleanliness and friendliness were good. I did notice that they seem to have more male residents than female, which I didn't think my loved one would prefer. Also, it felt a bit more like a nursing home environment than it did Assisted Living.

They were great. They did really well with the cares services. The staff, and the layout and interaction was really great. They were very informative. I would recommend to other families. Everybody was outstanding.

The feedback we have heard from other family members that live closer to the community - everything seems to be going perfectly fine. Our loved one is making new friends, but she says they could use a little more activities. From what we have heard the meals are good. We really appreciate how cooperative and quick the staff members were with helping our loved one get moved in.

The staff members were very friendly and we appreciated they encouraged our loved one to get involved when it came to the activities. They could improve on some amenities and their fire safety and help buttons.

I like the memory care unit. It's small, with only about 17 residents, and I love that. Because it's a smaller community, there is more individualized attention for each resident. My family member likes it there, and if I had to go into a place myself, I would go there.

This place is very homelike and clean when you walk through. The rooms are a good size. All the employees are friendly. Residents appear to be happy. It is conveniently all on one level and easy to navigate.

Every staff member came up to introduce themselves and explain the process. They were all super friendly and warm. My mom feels a lot less anxious now and is happy to be here.

Employees are GREAT! The managers are very helpful! Lots of activity. I love my apartment. Excellent food service.

We chose Brookdale High Point because the convenient location and I liked the way it looked, it also did not smell when you walk in. My loved one had just lost her sight and she walked in the first time and said how nice it smelled so that was huge for us. The staff is very helpful, especially [name removed] the admission sales director. She even helped us move stuff in and made the whole process easier for us. [name removed] the health and wellness director has gone above and beyond to help me with my mother and we really appreciate her. I would highly recommend Brookdale High Point.

The people are the best here at Brookdale. Caregivers and Residents make it a good place.

Brookdale Englewood has everything you or your loved one needs. From beautiful Mountain Views throughout the entire community, friendly staff and care, 17 floor plans to choose from, and the ability to transition levels of care easily- I can't recommend this community enough.

This location is beautiful! The different levels of care here is very rare to find. It's amazing how much there is to offer here.

My loved one loves the food. They have a chef. She has made a new friend. The activities are really good, and they offer things such as Bingo, entertainment, and happy hour. The value for the money is worth it. They do the laundry once per week. My loved one is happy. They are very attentive, and communicate well with the families. Overall, it's been great.

We really liked and appreciated the staff members and their responsiveness, the really listened to us and they genuinely got to know our loved one along with all of her wants and needs. The meals were good we had no complaints at all and they had plenty of activities. Based on our experience with Brookdale East Side we would recommend this community to other families.

We love Brookdale. He is very well taken care of and seems happy.

Brookdale Watauga is outstanding. The staff from top to bottom are caring and engaging. Meals are tasty. My dad goes to visit, and we will use them in the future. When you need to know your loved one is taken care of the way you would, Brookdale Watauga delivers.
