Brookdale

My father is doing well at this community. The community looks great, and very well-kept. The staff is great, they are taking very good care of my father, his needs. There activities offered for the residents. He is very happy with the meals, the food is very good. He is being provided with great care, and all is well.

Mom really likes it here now that she is starting to get used to the place. The staff is good and they are doing a great job with everything. The food is good and mom has had no complaints so far. The community is clean and so is moms room.

My mother has had a pleasant experience so far at this community and seems to be very happy with how things are going so far. The thing I am most thankful for is how wonderful all of the staff are. They treat her just like family and really have made her feel welcome into her new home. My mom has had no complaints about the food and has enjoyed participating in many of the different activities they have available throughout the week. Overall I am thankful we chose this place and would defiantly recommend it.

I am happy with the care that my father is getting here from the friendly staff. The community is clean and well taken care of. He seems happy with the variety. They do offer him activities and might be involved more at a later time. We liked that this community was close for us to visit and the size of the community is what we were looking for. We do recommend this community for great care and value.

Everyone at the Brookdale Sunwest was very friendly. The place was clean and we loved everything bout it. It was close to our home. My mother ended up choosing another community for personal preference, but there was nothing wrong with this one.

I am pleased with how everything has been going so far at this community for my loved one. He has been receiving great attention and care from the staff and has made a smooth transition into his apartment. My husband has had no complaints about the food seems to really be enjoying the different activities they have available for the residents throughout the week. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone interested in an assisted living for there loved one.

We toured this community for the care for my dad. The community was nice. The staff were friendly and caring. They had activities that were offered. The menu was appealing. Families should tour this community to see if this is what they are looking for.

I was a temporary live in for 3 weeks due to an earlier accident. The staff was friendly and caring. The residents seemed happy. i would recommend Brookdale for a short-term or respite visit. I cannot address the issue of long-term residency but it is on my list for consideration if I should need long term assisted living care.

I toured this community. The staff was very nice and friendly. The meals seem to be a good variety. They had good activities that would have been good for my mom. This community comes highly recommended for the care and the value.

My mother's parents lived here previously so my mother felt very comfortable moving in. My parents really like their cottage and the atmosphere of the place. They have 2 meals provided, and the view from the dining room is amazing. My mother gets her hair done there in the community and she really likes it. The only thing that has been a little slow so far, is when they need something fixed at their place. I can understand, though, because they have about 180 cottages and that is not including the apartments.

We did tour this community. We liked the tour of the community. The lady who gave us the tour. They did offer us a meal and we did not try the food. They do offer activities that would have been nice for them to participate. I suggest families take a tour to see the care and for the value that is offered here for their family member.

My mother had a pretty good experience during her stay here at this community. She is no longer living here because she improved so much, she was able to go home. She had some minor complaints, but overall I know she was in good hands. She was very pleased with the meals. Overall it is a community I would recommend.

My mother has been at this community for a little less than a month now and so far things have been going okay for her. There was a few bumps in the road here and there but everything has been resolved and my mom seems to be content. My mother also does not like to do activities so I thought it was pretty neat that the staff had created little jobs and different things for her to do around the building to keep her busy and out of her room. All in all everything is going fine and I am pleased with the services from this place.

The Brookdale did not seem to have the right care for my husband. They were all very friendly but I never got to meet the doctor that was supposed to be on staff. It was not a good fit so we chose another community.

Nice facility (some updates in the dining room would be nice...tables linens pretty tattered, damage to walls visible). There was mentioned possibility of a possible refurbishment later this year...I hope so! The wait staff in dining room don't seem happy about their jobs and often terse/borderline rude to residents/customers. Food adequate but not stellar. Rest of staff (receptionist, coordinators, all very pleasant). Our tour contact (Removed) was wonderful and very nice and took her time with my mom and I. Appreciate that they talked to my mom directly to get a handle on what was important to her in a facility. Rest of facility/amenities and rooms seem nice. Impressed that people seem social there (ice cream social very popular!). Good turnout for one of the exercise classes. Good systems in place for safety, etc.. Also appreciate that both IL and AL available there. Our thanks to [Removed]...she was great and we will keep her posted on our decision.

It has been an adjustment for my mother since her move into the Brookdale. When we first looked into moving her in, they had told us that the transportation within a 15-mile radius was included, but once we gave them a list, they said it was not covered. Also, they have had some problems with the food running out, like bread and peanut butter.

Overall it has been a good experience for my mother since her move to this community. We had some problems with her medications in the beginning, but things are gotten better now. This is a nice community, and they have good staff at this community. For the most part the staff is courteous. There are activities offered for the residents. She is very pleased with the meals, the food is good. I know she is being cared for very well, and in a good hands. This is a community I would recommend.

We toured this community for the care for my mom. the community was older and it did not have the atmosphere that we were looking for. This community was clean. The staff did answer our question We would recommend the care and the value to other families for care for a loved one.

I had a very nice tour of this community. It is a very nice place, and everything looked great. All they staff members I came a crossed were very kind. My tour guide was very informative, and sweet. The experience went well. It is a very nice place.

This facility shows well. Clean and acceptable. Good activities for residents. good pricing.
