My tour of this community went very well. The staff was kind, and informative. My questions were answered. The community was smaller than I had would like, but everything appeared to be well-kept. It was a good experience, but I didn't think this was the right fit for my husband.

Great Private Rooms!!

My mother has her own room at this house that is spacious and perfect for her needs. The staff are friendly and make sure to attend to my mothers needs. They have a chef who prepares three different meals a day for them and a great dinning room experience. This facility has a "family" feeling. There is always room for some improvement but, so far, everything is going well and we are happy.

It was a good place to tour and all was okay with what they provide. There was not much to improve on their tour but this was not going to be the right fit. I noticed there was quite a bit of residents here and the carpet looked like it needed a little vacuuming.

Excellent staff

Just recently the owner of the palce has been doing cutbacks, it was really good when she got there but we've been seeing mroe and more cutbacks the past couple of weeks. Right now they have about 1 nurse for 25 people, we haven't had a problem, they're always there and the people who are there are really great, I just think they're overworked. The nurses do the laundry, they're doing a lot of different jobs besides nursing. With activities they have something almost everyday but it's pretty much the director that does it, I don't think they pay someone to come. It's better than a lot I've been to and the people who work there are why I put her there, it's also smaller so she ahs her own room. It's a good place, I'm glad I put her there

new facility just opened--closer to home--only ~4.5 miles. Large rooms, still needs some work in some of them. Clean--only 1-2 residents currently. Also immaculate, but seemed "cold". 2 cats on premises--were outside--if inside would be a problem. one of the staff brings her Yorkie to work with her.

My wife's mother was in the home for almost 5 years. We found the owners to be very personal and willing to do anything (are most anything) including things like birthday parties for those living there. The food was planned for the different diets that senior have from time to time. The people who worked there were very personal and did what they could to make sure the patients were warm and comfortable. We are so glad that she enjoyed her last days at the Beehive Home.

Safe & clean but lacking High staff turnover

Good- it's new, mostly clean & small. Best is [name removed] the house manager. She works her tail off! Needs improvement - staff turn over. Poor activities director, poor food quality. Need more staff. Hallways need painted for all the marks. Landscaping needs help - lots of weeds very tall.

The tour was great and the director was awesome. This is a new community and a smaller setting. The staff answered any and all questions that I had. The community was kept clean and it is bright. The menu for dining is good and supplies a good amount of choices. The residents can order food whenever they want and whatever they want. However, the rooms are small and not like an apartment more like just a room.

Family's experience

They have three activities, not consistent bingo arts, and crafts, which means painting, and sometimes they'll do exercises in the morning. The food is horrible. They buy good value Walmart brand and they have cooks not a chef and they serve meals like a sandwich with a little bit of chips or they'll use Stouffer's brand lasagna. Nothing homemade no dedicated dietary breakdown, menus or calendars I had to provide strainers for them to be able to strain food since my mom is on a feeding tube and I also had to provide Lyft belts because they didn't have those in stock for the patients. They are clean, but if you want a deep clean of their room, you have to ask because I don't think the people know how to clean. We have been there since[Date Removed] and have had at least 4 to 5 staff changes, including house managers. [Name Removed] the current house manager has been fantastic, but only been there one month. It took from [Dates Removed] for them to fix my mom's shower so she could get hot water. They were taking her to a different room's shower until I found out and complained. If your family member has to be away from facility due to a hospital stay over 10 days long. They still do not give you any credit against your monthly fee.

My Mom,my sister and myself went here Tuesday. It was clean, dark in the lobby and a lot of people sitting in front of the TV starring off. My Mom was agitated while we were there and kept asking how much it was and kept repeating it was too much, she couldn’t afford it. I believe it was the atmosphere when we walked in that bothered her.

Memory Care is not their strong suit.

The facility was clean and the units were large. The night staff was wonderful. They didn't install locks on the doors until after my mother eloped and was found under a bush, in 36 degree temperatures. No one could tell me how long she had been put there. Another resident was also attempting to leave that same evening. Several times she was in the same clothes and it was evident she hadn't been changed...I visited almost daily and would then do whatever was necessary. My mother passed March 15 at Beehive. Very limited interactions with management at that time. A few days after her passing, we were in her unit packing up and it was obviously a sad situation however management was directly across the small hallway selling that room. It was uncomfortable to say the least...possibly wait 30 mins next time?!?! There were a few very caring staff members however the nurse in charge on days seemed indifferent and overall I wouldn't classify them as memory care, even if their license indicates.

short staffed, VERY basic, rooms & common area very 'sterile' and institutional feeling. Did not have any handouts, information we could take except a very basic brochure that staff copied down prices into. When we asked about activities, we were told they do a bible study on Thurs afternnon' and nothing more. We are not at all interested here

I would not recommend, RUN

They serve awful food, they said they are chef prepared and home style and they are not. They only serve Hispanic style foods and the portions are very small. They serve hot dogs, Mac n cheese as an entree, pizza, etc. Nothing is nutritious. My dads medications ran out here twice because they never let me know and I had to pay out of pocket to get emergency medications and had to take a day off of work. When I contacted them, they asked if I wanted them to check and see if they had any of those medications from deceased residents. I reported this all to the state. I complained to the gentlemen who runs the company and he could care less about what I had to say. All he wants is his money.
