The staff down at the memory care have been above and beyond amazing!

[name removed] was amazing throughout the whole tour of facility and signing up for entry to Princeton; she continues still to offer support for both myself and my mom. All the staff is nice and accommodating. The room turned out to be better than expected, and the place is very clean and well maintained

The staff is kind and caring. The apartment is small and the closet is very small. Not much room for storage. All personal items are locked in a cupboard. (Shampoo, toothpaste, hair brush, etc.). Room is clean. Could be a few more activities for those in memory care that are able to do them. The memory care center is a good caring place for those who need more help.

Overall it's been exceptional , it's surpassed my mother's expectations of what it would be like there, she loves her room and all the activities there.

I was very pleased with the size of the rooms, and with the cleanliness. The dining room was very nice and the hours of operation were outstanding. Many amenities, such as outdoor pergola for getting some fresh air, a movie room, library, and even a salon for haircuts.I feel my father will be very happy there.

The place was newer and modern, clean, and large rooms. People where nice and friendly. I liked the different stations/rooms around the facility.

The facility is very inviting, clean, and appeared to be a friendly environment. The staff that I met were cordial and friendly. The wonderful staff member who gave me my tour, patiently listened as I told my story about my brother, [name removed]. She also listened and was attentive when I spoke about our family dynamics. If my brother does move here to Cleveland, I believe Vitalia would be an excellent home for him.

[name removed] was very helpful and she gave us a tour of some of the facility and gave us a brochure's to look at, we’re thinking this is the place for his sister. We hope this will work.

Everyone here is friendly, helpful nice. They all know my name and answer my questions and address my concerns promptly. The food is varied and good, and the staff know residents' special dietary needs. I have celiac, and met the chef before I moved in; he has made accommodations so I always know when some selection has gluten. He has recently ordered gluten free flour, bread crumbs, tortillas and buns so those of us who must avoid gluten can have wraps and burgers or meatballs/meatloaf when they are on the menu. The food is consistently good. Breakfast is served all day, and a number of us residents choose freely from the breakfast menu at lunch or dinner. There are also different sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups and desserts to choose from each day. Activities are varied and accessible. There is a morning exercise class every day but Sunday. We also have an exercise room with several machines, free weights etc. a couple of times a month residents can sign up for lunch trips to local restaurants, we have group games like bingo, crossword puzzles, scrabble, cards, a library with books, jigsaw puzzles, and a relationship with Springdale Public Library that allows us to check out books to be delivered on site. Every Friday afternoon at 4 we have happy hour with drinks and snacks in the Atrium, monthly brunches and candlelight dinners with themed menus, special meals for families and grandchildren. There is a theater room that also serves as chapel, and religious services are offered several times a week. My one bedroom apartment is well laid out, with lots of closet space, a bathroom with walk-in shower, and grab bars. I have a balcony with room for chairs and shelf space for plants. The living area is sufficient, and people also use other common areas to socialize. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, lit, and landscaped. This may be more information than you wanted, but I highly recommend the Gardens at Arkanshire for anyone.

He loves the food and is especially enjoying the nightly get together such as playing card games. he always attends the 10:30 am exercise class.

Overall impressions were very positive. Residents were friendly and answered questions when staff were present and when they were not. Everyone I met welcomed me and offered to answer any positive or negative questions. Staff were friendly and open to questions also. Very helpful and seemed very glad to meet me. Apartments were opened if not rented. My family showed up a few days later and asked for a tour and they had the same experience. A schedule of daily activities was shared and fully explained

The facility is very nice, and [name removed] was gracious, and interested in learning about my husband. We will go back for another look before making our final decision.

I was very impressed with the building, grounds and staff. It was clean and updated. The residents I saw there seemed genuinely happy and engaged.

My husband & I had a great tour, the facility was clean and would be somewhere I would consider for myself in the future. The menu was extensive plus the option for a la cart options. We like the pool are and the game room as well. I liked that the idea that there are options for assisted living if needed down the road.

It had all of the earmarks of a new place! It was bright and cheery with friendly faces of staff and residents.

My friend was the first resident in the Memory Care Unit - now there are 5 residents. The staff has been wonderful. They are very attentive and very caring. The rooms are just studio size but their reasoning is that they want the residents out of the room and participating in activities. =20 They offer a wide variety of activities and encourage participation. It is a beautiful facility with a lot of open spaces for activities, including a very nice courtyard. My friend is getting PT, OT, speech therapy, weekly Nurse Practitioner visits, monthly Dr visits - all on-site. Kathy, my friend, is very happy there. I would highly recommend Barrymore!

I and 3 sons, 3 daughter in laws and a granddaughter toured and found it to be a beautiful facility. Loved the aviance /atmosphere and the variety of activities and amenities available. Honestly, at this time I am looking for a retirement community primarily with safety features but not assisted living ie. Med prep or help with showering. I feel I would be paying for the services even not using them. Should I need assisted living, Ridgemere would be a place I would readily consider.

The facility was beautiful. I was greeted at the front desk and shown to a lovely space to meet with marketing director. She was very professional and personable. She took time to get to know me and learn about my mother and what we were looking for in facility. We took a tour of the community with a full explanation of residential life there. I did not feel rushed and all my questions were thoroughly answered. This was the only facility so far that sent me thank you note for coming!

[name removed] was very informative. Answered all my questions. Very happy with the tour. I felt very welcomed when offered something to drink and a small platter of food. The buildings were very well maintained. The memory care was beautiful and also welcoming.

Staff - The staff has all been so amazing! Some of the friendliest people I've ever met. And they truly care about the residents and they truly enjoy their jobs! Activities - although I have not participated in any of the activities myself personally, there always seems to be something fun going on. You've somehow even got my mom to play bingo!!! ?? Food - we have sampled the food and it is fantastic! And we love the menu and the venue. Such a beautiful atmosphere. Cleanliness - the whole place is so clean! And smells amazing too. Smell can be a big issue in assisted living environments Room size - I feel that my mom's room is very spacious and comfortable. At first we were concerned it might not be big enough but now we see that she has room to spare!
